駅前に小さいですが屋台および田中久重のモニュメントがあります。ほかに井上伝は絣を発展させた人です。

筑後川の河川敷を走るマラソン大会も娘婿と一緒に参加したものです。
想夫恋の焼きそばも美味しかったなあ。
