たまるでの緊張といえば、荷積みに手間どり、潮位がギリギリのときに本川を下り、船底からゴトゴト音がしたことがありました。

調べてみると広島県と山口県の両方にまたがる県境の島なのですね。
この島を目標に舵を取った小学生のたまじい、緊張した事でしょうね。
